Another year has come and gone. I still insist that there must be a correlation between age and gravity that makes time go by faster and faster as we get older.
Looked back at last year’s resolutions. Definitely updated my blog more regularly – cross that one off the list! – but the other resolutions still need more work. Feel the need to have at least one new resolution though. I prefer something not too specfic, but not extremely cliche either (i.e pariticpating in a triathalon too specific, exercising too cliche); especially when I have my list of 101 to-dos.
New Resolution: Better organization skills!
This is in relation to physical appearances and timing. This includes keeping the house picked up and looking nice. This includes making sure we collect our mail and file the paperwork regularly. This includes making sure we put necessary time towards house responsibilities without taking away from time with family (and vice versa).
To make this one a little easier to handle, I should probably prioritize a few specifics:
- Keep Simeon’s toys from spreading throughout the entire house.
- Straighten Simeon’s room and keep it looking nice.
- Don’t let mailbox build up
- File paperwork regularly
There’s definitely more, but these are the starters…
Still a common resolution, I’m sure, but I don’t know if I’d call it cliche.
