Turns out Friday’s day of training will end with team Karaoke. As I look through the list of songs, I see “I will Survive” by Gloria Gaylor and since college, can’t think of that song with out thinking of this clip.
I Will Survive…

My So-Called Blog
Read an article called “My So-Called Blog“ today that I found via How Appealing. Apparently this article will be in Sunday’s New York Times Magazine. An interesting read about the role this medium of communication plays in the life of many teenagers today.

New Homepage
Well, Ari and I spent the last couple nights working on our new home page. Still has some work to go (finish the photo albums, get the right coloring, and such), but this is definately a good start.

It's Official
Saturday night, Nov 15 2003, I became Pamela Pernick. It still seems like a dream. I can remember everything that happened, but after dating for 6 years, I think it will take hard core evidence, such as pictures and dvd, for it all to become concrete and real.
From the ketubah signing and bedeken ceremony, through the wedding ceremony and stomping of the glass, and everything after, I had an awesome time. The evening was absolutely magical and I am so glad our friends and family could be there to share it with us.

A Hrefhttpmsncnetcomcom2100102735103918htmlpartmsncnetamptagfee
Penn State has a deal with Napster that some students aren’t happy about. Fees that students are required to pay, and have no control over, are being used to allow access to Napster’s music subscription service.
On the one hand, students are being forced to support this whether or not they will actually use the service. However, at the same time, there are plenty of other fees students pay that they don’t directly use via programs offered by the university. What about the students who have their own computers and never go down to the computer labs? Maybe they feel the opposite – that they’d use napster and don’t see a need for new lab machines.
When I first read the article I was in agreement with those students upset about the Napster deal. However, the more I think about it, the more I’m not quite sure which side I agree with. It would be nice to allow students to choose exactly what they want their money to go to, but that may be too much to ask. And universities are expected to provide different services to students, whether or not some students don’t actually use them such as counselors, job services, registered student organizations.

San Diego Chargest to play in Champaign
With the fires in San Diego, and the Chargers playing the Chicago Bears this weekend, it looks like Champaign becomes the place to play.
