Piya's Perspective

Wow…I can’t believe it’s been almost 2 weeks since Caitlyn arrived into the world.

She’s doing wonderfully.  Jaundice seems to be gone, she eats well, and she even stays awake between a few feedings during the day.

Last couple nights have been rough though.  Shes practically eaten non-stop from 9-midnight.  This means I’m not getting much sleep at night and other night feedings don’t go very well.  It also makes surgery recovery harder.  I find it difficult to feed her in bed, so I wind up having to go downstairs.  The constant up and down, even at night, takes its toll.  Maybe I’ll wind up getting an extension on short term disability…
