I feel like I’m getting behind in posting. I made a list of things to post about some time ago, but now those feel out of date. If there was something particular I meant to post about those events, I have since forgotten.
Friday was Hawk-U. An annual office training event. Yet again, they provided nice logo-ized items – blankets and USB thumbdrives. I think they did a pretty good job this year. You can always find something to complain about if you want, but overall the classes and Friday night event were interesting and entertaining. Hawkeye is working on finalizing the merger of the three Hawkeye companies – logo, tag line, etc. The new logo doesn’t seem to be a hit with the people I’ve talked to so far. If the employees aren’t thrilled, what will the clients think?
Simeon Stuff
I’ve already posted about Simeon taking his first steps. However, he’s smart enough to realize there’s a learning curve to walking. “Crawling gets me places really fast. Why on earth would I want to stand up and go slower?”
Moving on all fours is not the only thing he’s learned from Tegan. After a morning of play with D&J, Simeon did not want to take a nap yesterday. Eventually (1 – 1.5 hours later) we made our way back downstairs. After a little more food, Simeon went to visit Ari in the office. Simeon then closed the doors, stared up at daddy who sat him on his lap and Simeon was asleep within minutes.
Here’s hoping something interesting actually happens soon…
