Another update

Doctor’s visit is today – possibly the last one.  Hopefully the last one.  This appointment is in the Issaquah office, so I’ll be working from home today.  This is good and bad.  Good in that I’m at home where it’s a bit more comfortable.  Bad in that my office is a little closer to the hospital and I think I’d have an easier time finding somebody in the office to take me to the hospital if I don’t feel I can make it myself.  ‘Course everybody at work is expecting me to not be in any day now.  A few were half-surprised I was there yesterday.  I wonder how many people will think I’m in the hospital because they won’t see me at my desk today. 🙂
I think Link had a growth spurt yesterday/last night. When I woke up this morning, I’d swear my tummy was bigger.  I came home from work yesterday with a headache and woke up with another. Eating helped but did not manage to get rid of either headache completely.  I’ve determined that when I get headaches, it means the baby wants more food and it seems like I just couldn’t eat enough yesterday. I really hope Link decides it is ready to come out before the due date.  *Hear me in there, Link?  you can come out now.  Hide and seek is over…I found you.  You’ve already gotten me a few times, why don’t you go after Ari now?*
On the other hand, it would be kind of cool if this child was born on its due date.  Aside from the fact that it’s uncommon, I was apparently born on my due date (almost beat the doctor to the delivery room according to my mom).
So what else is actually going on in life?  Unfortunately, I can’t think of much.  Work has luckily slowed down at just the right time and I’ve managed to cross-train/transition all the big things.
My friend, Jess, has either just moved or is about to move to Virginia.  Congrats on the job, Jess!  It’s actually pretty cool that she found something in Fairfax, since it is so close to my in-laws.  Ari and I have been talking about going to Virginia for Thanksgiving and it would be great if I have the opportunity to see Jess while we’re there.  I haven’t seen her for a few years.
Well, hopefully I’ll add more after the doctor’s visit today.  ‘Til then.
